"When You Don't Know What to Do"

Jul 19, 2026    Daniel Kitchel

Worry can fill our minds with problems we cannot control and outcomes we cannot predict. In Philippians 4, Paul teaches us to pray, give thanks, fix our thoughts on what is true, and practice what God has taught us. Jehoshaphat models this response in 2 Chronicles 20 when he prays, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” When we do not know what to do, we can still turn our eyes toward God and trust His peace to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
