Before the Red Sea

Sep 6, 2026    Daniel Kitchel

Moses' mother has just done the hardest thing a mother can do: she's placed her baby in a basket and set him adrift on the Nile. And Moses' sister, Miriam, is left behind on the bank to watch. She can't steer the basket or calm the current. She cannot control anything. All she can do is stay, and watch, and hang on every moment.

That's where our Through the Waters series begins. Not with Moses, but with Miriam, the sister who has no control over the outcome and stays anyway. When the moment finally comes, all she has is one sentence, spoken at the right time. It is the beginning of this redemptive story.
