"God Loves Family"
The scriptures have much to say about family. In this sermon, we see that the scriptures have much to say about the beauty and brokenness of family through Ephesians 5–6 and John 19:25–27. Family is one of God’s greatest gifts, but it is also often where we feel our deepest joy and deepest pain. Rather than calling us to a picture-perfect home, God calls us to Christlike love, grace, forgiveness, and faithfulness in the real families we actually live in. At the cross, even in unimaginable suffering, Jesus still sees His mother and cares for her, showing us that true love does not disappear in pain. The gospel not only saves us; it transforms the way we love our spouses, children, and parents. The beauty of family is not perfection; it is living out the Gospel with one another.
